Buck

Buck is an anthropomorphic deer (essentially, he's humanoid, with antlers; I wasn't as big a furry as I am now when I made him) who has spent most of his life wandering alone. A quiet, peaceful guy, Buck prefers to be in very abandoned places in the woods--run-down, destroyed, overgrown human structures are best, but he enjoys anywhere cozy and wooded. Even so, as a wanderer, it's tough to tie him down, even if he falls deeply in love with a place.

Terminally terrified of humans, the only thing that started to tie him down and make him comfortable was stumbling across Ovid's farm. It took a lot of work, but Buck slowly came to feel comfortable enough with the farm and its farmer to stay there. (For his part, the farmer is a kind man who indulges his animals; he has let Ovid and Buck use the farmhouse as they please.) Buck's wanderlust hasn't faded, though, and he often walks around the nearby woods, generally avoiding the city (though he'll visit if he's in a big group of friends), but he always comes back to curl up by the fire with Ovid.

Buck and Ovid are a package deal; they're dating and they love each other and they manage the farm for the aging farmer. Ovid helps Buck feel more comfortable with humans, and Buck helps Ovid destress. He also helps all the other sheep destress.

If Buck loves something, he will make a little flower crown for it and place it atop their head. He's made too many for Ovid to count, and many of his favorite things in the farmhouse are decked with flowers.

Physical Description

Buck isn't super tall, but his antlers are a decent size. He mostly just looks like a soft-featured, kind-faced young man otherwise. He wears very comfy clothes, almost all in earth tones; his trademark article is a fluffy brown sweater. Of course, he's always making himself flower crowns. In winter, he'll weave together anything he can get.
